On my outing with the kids 2 days ago, I was able to get some fun stuff for some other projects I've been wanting to do. One of them was making a wreath for a special wall decor project for the baby.
I thought this would take a long time to make, but it's moving along just fine. I have an hour in already, so I think 2 hours will be sufficient. Not a bad project to do during American Idol
I'm wrapping this wreath with the yummy cotton yarn. I thought about fabric, but I like the texture and unique-ness of yarn. I also could have chosen a loftier more bulky yarn, but I loved the color and texture of this one. It's a bit osnaburg like with little brown flecks in the cream. Love it.
I can't wait to show you the finished project, I think it's going to come out great!
You have some kind of patience :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what will come out? It will be great, and the pastel, warm colours are really sweet!
ReplyDeletecheers,
That looks beautiful already!!! But don't leave it near our cats - they got my wool once and let's just say my project never looked quite the same after that sad moment!
