Papa and Grandma visit

I do want to share some of the photos of the kids with their grandparents on their visit with us.  One of the things that I noticed was how much the kids thrived when Dave's folks were here.  They spent SO much time one on one with them, just reading and talking.  The kids loved it.

Each morning, my mother-in-law would wake up Elsa to read with her.  After the first couple of days, Adin caught on and would come down and join them.  It was so sweet to see that time of calm.

You must know that I'm not a morning person at all.  I don't function well for the first couple hours of the day, so this was a real treat for my kids.

And then there was the coloring and puzzles

And a little bit a Wii play

And lots of football watching.  There was elation from one Seahawks game and frustration with the other, but that's the game of football!

Yes, we all had a great time.  These visits from family are well appreciated and enjoyed.
