Nice Sunday for us

We didn't make it to church (once again) so we decided to take the kids to the only theater (1 hour away) that was still showing "How to Train your Dragon".  It was doinky little theater, but we got off with only spending $20 including tickets, pop and popcorn for the kids.  What a cute movie,  I really liked it.  Dave had his deep thought criticisms (anti-war, anti-parents, etc.), but overall I think it was really good.

After that we used our Christmas gift cards to Olive Garden.  It was great meal and the kids' first experience at our favorite restaurant.  Olive Garden is where Dave and I had our first date and where we went the night he asked me to marry him.  The kids did well and we had a good experience.

My favorite part of the day was getting to see the sofa I'm planning to buy for the house in AK through the window of a closed furniture store.  It is awesome and I'm getting so excited to decorate the new house!

We found out at the end of the day we could have avoided Lawton all together and just taken the kids to the car wash.  That was where they had the most fun.  LOL.  They're cheap dates.  I love my kids.
