I often think about blogging and desire to do it. I enjoy blogging. It's kind of therapeutic for me, but alas, there are just not enough hours in the day. Lydia rarely leaves me any hands-free time, and when she does, I'm rushing around taking care of the house and kids.
It's a season in my life, and I'm trying hard to embrace it.
Lydia is such a tough baby, but I am enjoying her at least as much as I did my first baby. I don't know if it's her personality, or my outlook. With Adin, it was all new and amazing. With Lydia, I think it's because she's my last and so I'm soaking up all the firsts and the cuddles and love.
Dave is deployed until after the new year, but we're looking forward to my sister and kids coming for a visit for 2 weeks over Christmas. It's going to be fun. I've been deep cleaning the house so I can really relax when they're here. Deep cleaning with Lydia around means the whole process takes me nearly 2 weeks since I can only manage one room a day. Oh well....seasons right?
The kids are doing great. We're pecking away at school, and they are so helpful with Lydia and around the house. I love my babies!
I'll leave you with a couple of pics from the last week.
Bonding with Daddy over Garfield comics before he left
Adin loves to hold Lydia, even while he does schoolwork.
(I think he'll be a great Daddy someday)
My little sweetie pie

She's getting more hair. Can you see it?

Here's to hoping for a little more free time during the day ♥
