We've been here in Alaska for a year now (as of last Sunday). It's amazing how quickly the time has flown.
We're having some truly GORGEOUS weather these days. Wow. The leaves are changing, the days are clear and about 65 degrees and the nights are cooler. I can tell it's the last HooRa before it starts to snow in October.
I told you all last week that I'm a chronic rearranger/refresher, and my living room has gotten the brunt of my obsession lately. For the second time in 9 days, I've rearranged the living room, moving furniture and accessories around from other rooms and spaces. I think I'm liking it (at least for the next couple of weeks, ha!)
I didn't stage any of this, just to show how "real" life is around here. As soon as I get something clean and organized, this group moves in to enjoy the area...completely destroying my hard work
That's a nice long car race track on the back of the sectional, with the stuffed animals as the fan section
Love the intensity little man is showing here
Ah, well, I'll just enjoy this little section right here.
I'm loving my sewing machine cabinet as the sidetable!
Thanks to Kristin at My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia for featuring my subway art. I really appreciate it.
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Hi Miranda I'm back in Homer and loved Fairbanks. We were close to the Creamery with all the cranes, ducks, and geese flying by our motel which was lovely. The weather was so beautiful and the college just great. Our grandson has his own room and we got him all moved in there.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great time Nan! It was truly beautiful weather there this week. The cranes and geese are sure fun to see. I hope your grandson has a wonderfully smooth year of college.
