I opened up my sourdough starter today and finally got it going. I had bought a neat crock for it to go in because I assumed it would be much smaller than it turned out to be, but it's too big to easily fit in the fridge. So now I'm on the hunt again for a good lidded glass container that I use to store the starter in the refrigerator once it spends 48 hours on the counter.
I love having a starter readily available with good bacteria. Wooo! I will soon have a starter of Viili going so I can make my own sour cream, dressing and yogurt. This is going to be so much fun!!
