Either way, next week Dave will fly his last flight in the simulator (where most of the training is done) and take his main checkride. Then he'll be on the flightline where he only has 4 flights left. Estimating they'll do approx 2 flights a week, he may be done here in 2 1/2-3 weeks. Woooo!
On to Alaska!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind thoughts. We have retirement to use which everyone says don't! But, hey, what to do, huh?
We still have our sense of humor, and I guess, a rental home in a resort village, and most likely an Airstream, if possible, to live in. There could be much worse things. And, if that works out, we will see lots of California on weekends.
Off to Dave Ramsay...I know that stuff, but it's like a diet, you need a community. Maybe they will have more than giving up everything, which we have already done, to say.

I hope you are able to get some things figured out soon. An airstream might not be so bad. At least you have good weather!
