Being here in Oklahoma has felt a little like a vacation because the weather is so beautiful. We've had a couple of days of rain, but the overal temps are in the 60's and 70's (we're supposed to see the 80's next week).
We've spent quite a bit of time on base visiting the library and community center (pics to come of those favorite places) and also the parks. I love taking the kids on the base because it just feels so safe and secure, not to mention that things are clean.
This park area is new since the last time we were here, and the kids just love it.

Ephraim was obsessed with this Craisins Trail Mix (we found out it contains dyes in the fruit, so we won't be buying it again unforturnately) so in all his pics, he looks like a walking advertisement
I like the location since I'm able
to let Lydia have a nap in the car while I watch them play, which is
great.
(this pic was taken through the tinted window and I can't believe how good it came out)
It was super windy this day...like 45mph gusts. But since it was almost 80 degrees, it didn't matter to us.
I have so few photos with me and the kids together, I enlisted their help in getting a couple quick ones
With my precious son
(well, they're all precious, but there's just something extra sweet about my happy Isaac)
It sure does feel like summer around here...but more like a cool Pacific NW summer, not a miserably hot Oklahoma summer. Perfect!

What a cool place to spend a few hours! Great pictures!

Have fun it's just cold here in Homer with 11 degrees this am and more snow on the way later in the week. My grandson from Fairbanks is flying into Kodiak today to visit his mom on Spring break. Nan
